Darrell Staley

Mr. Darrell Wayne Staley, 51, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2018. He was a carpenter, artist, and mechanic. He never met a stranger. He is survived by his father, John Staley, step-father, Lane M. Parker, five sisters, Melissa Staley, M. Lynn Hill, Maggie A. Staley, Mandy Staley and Mary Staley Manning; two step-brothers, Buddy Parker and Chris Parker; step-sister, Elaine Parker, brother in-law, Will Hill, step-daughter, Rita Carter, nieces and nephews, Adam and his wife, Caty Hill, Kayla and Blake Hill, Terry Jordon, Joshua Barber, Selena Staley, Garrett Parsons, E. J. Manning, Evelyn Dean, C. Renee Staley, Alex Parker, and Auston and Colton Parker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Laws Parker; uncle, David Nathanial Laws; grandparents, Hubert and Gladys Laws and Charlie and Gertrude Staley; and aunt, Brenda Staley. A memorial service celebrating Darrell's life will be held from 10:00 - 12:00pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at New Bethel United Methodist Church, 9022 New Bethel Church Road, Rougemont, NC 27572. Walker's Funeal Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Staley family.
