Darla Elizabeth Grill

Darla Elizabeth Grill (Dover) affectionately knows as Granny Grill went to her heavenly home on October 13,2022 at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

Darla is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Gerald Grill, her sister Deb Heath of Durham NC, her children Mike and Diane Grill of Johnston City TX, Cynthia Newell of Green Ohio, Tammy Stefanick of Durham, NC, Cindy and Mike Bonnici of Grass Lake Michigan, Heather and David Moore of Raleigh NC; her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents Frederick and Gladys Dover of Michigan and Brother-in-Law, Lew Heath of Indiana.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Darla. She was a gifted artist and loved to paint and create amazing works of art that will be cherished by many generations. Darla and her husband Jerry loved to travel and visit with family and friends.

A short graveside ceremony will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Markham Memorial Garden in Durham NC.
