Danielle Winslow

Danielle Winslow, 62, of Chapel Hill, NC died on January 6, 2015 at home in the love of her family after a long battle with breast cancer. Born in Pittsburgh, PA February 10, 1952 she attended the Young Artists classes at Carnegie-Mellon while in high school. She continued her painting studies at Kutztown University. Danielle had an artistry that she put into everything she touched. And made it look effortless and easy. An advertising art director when few women were, she worked several years for the award-winning Raleigh, NC agency, McKinney& Silver. A skilled chef with a knack for Yorkshire pudding. A dressage rider who loved dancing with her horse, Dexter. Wife to Michael. Stepmom to Emily and Lauren. Aunt to Alex. Sister to Michelle. Friend of many. She was a passionate painter of light filled canvases - and the light of her love will be remembered always. Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 15 at 4:00 PM.
