“What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night.

It is the breath of a buffalo in the winter time. It is the little shadow which runs

across the grass and loses itself at sunset.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chris was born in Lebanon, the beautiful land of the cedars and crossroad of ancient civilizations that was visited and loved by Jesus and his disciples.

He adopted America as his second home where, surrounded by a loving family, he completed his university studies and went on to pursue a successful career in information technology.

Chris had a pure heart and an enviable compassion, especially for the poor and under-privileged to whom he was so supportive and helpful. A good conversationalist with strong opinions, he loved people and was loved by everybody. His many friends appreciated all his qualities and their bonds with him were never broken, even those from his school days back in Lebanon who are so devastated by his loss.

Chris had many talents and interests. He was an artist, an accomplished cook and gourmet. He had an unerring sense of beauty and fashion, loved music and always had his avant-gardist preferences in it. He cared so much for animals and his cats will surely miss him a lot.

What is more to say, shall we remember the Apostle Paul’s final words:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Farewell dearest brother, you will be in our hearts forever.
