Christine Zinser

Christine A. Zinser of Chapel Hill, NC passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Chris will most be remembered for her love of life, her ability to make everyone laugh and her selfless dedication to caring for so many people. She was a gentle spirit and loved the outdoors, even if it was just sitting on her front porch with morning coffee. We will find peace in knowing that she surrounds us with the sounds of the ocean and the breeze of the mountains, which she loved. Her family was her life - she was married to her best friend, Tim for 38 years; two children - daughter, Kim Andrews (husband, Alan) and son, Justin; two grandchildren, Cassidy and Brody. Chris is also survived by her mother, Gerri DeHaan; sisters, Linda and Valerie; nephews Al and Brandon and a multitude of friends. Our family gatherings were (and will continue to be) the best of times - Pumpkin Carving, Thanksgiving, Christmas Cookie decorating, Gingerbread House decorating, Monday night potlucks and just floating in the pool are such fond memories and special times. Chris was employed by BlueCross/BlueShield as a caseworker, which enabled her to share her gift of nursing.
