Christine White Childers

Hillsborough - Christine Thomas White Childers, 84 of Phelps Rd. Hillsborough passed away, Friday, March 31, 2017 at UNC Hospital. Mrs. Childers was born, December 15, 1932 in Orange County, NC to the late Herbert and Oma Walker White. She attended Orange County Schools. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Childers, and her sister Cathleen. She is survived by her sons: Michael Peace and wife Mary and Joe Peace, and a daughter, Loretta W. Rogers and husband Gregg, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at New Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, NC.
