Cheshire Cole

Hillsborough - Mr. Cheshire Jackson Cole, Sr., 89, Friday, March 7, 2014. He attended Hillsboro High School and was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He retired from General Electric. He was a founding member of the Orange County Rescue Squad. He was a member of the Hillsborough Planning Board and The Church of God. He was truly a great person to be with and around. Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Hardee Cole, his son, Cheshire Cole, Jr. (Beverly Wagner), Efland, one brother, Jack Cole (Anza), Colfax, NC, one step-son, Ray Hardee, (Cathy), Hillsborough, 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:30 Tuesday in Walker's Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 1-2:20 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in the Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
