Charles Antle

Charles Cage Antle, Jr of Chapel Hill passed away on April 19th at the age of 80. Mr. Antle is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret, and his four children, David Antle of Durham and his partner Andy Smith, Karen Antle of Chapel Hill, Chuck Antle of Apex and his wife Donna, and Ellen Hernandez of Raleigh and her husband Jorge. He was also greatly loved by his 6 grandchildren, Katie, Cage, Javier, Melanie, Elena, and Luc. Mr. Antle is a long-time resident of Chapel Hill and had a long career with the University of NC at Chapel Hill. A service will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 A.M. at the Newman Catholic Student Center on the UNC campus. Mourners are encouraged to wear something Carolina blue to the service in honor of Mr. Antle's strong ties with the university. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Orange County Animal Shelter. Walker's Funeral Home, Chapel Hill is proudly serving the Antle family.
