Cecil Horton

Mr. Cecil Wayne Horton, 80, husband of Myrtle Ann Horton, died Friday morning at Duke University Hospital. Mr. Horton was born in Franklin County, NC to the late Katie Bell and Marshall Horton. He was educated in the Franklin County schools. For many years, Cecil was employed in the Manufacturing business, dedicated to his career, he was a hard worker, and retired as a Supervisor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Cecil is survived by his son, Marty Wayne Horton of Hillsborough; daughter, Tammy Annette Jackson, and her husband, Dale, of Durham; and his faithful companion and 'best friend', Buddy. The Horton family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 16, 1:00 to 3:00 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough, 204 N. Churton Street Flowers are acceptable or memorials in Cecil's name may de directed to the charity of your choice.
