Carol Berry

Carol S. Berry, age 76, of Efland, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at her home. Carol was born on December 4, 1945 and was the daughter of Elmore “Bo” Shambley and Mae McGee Shambley, who both preceded her in death.



Carol was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Mebane, NC for nearly 60 years and was active in the United Methodist Women and the Women’s Bible Study group there.



Carol is survived by-

Husband, Richard C. Berry, of the home

Daughter, Joy B. Allen, of Franklinton, NC

Son, Todd Berry, and daughter -in-law, Laura Bilbro-Berry, of Washington, NC

Grandchildren, Austin Allen, of Franklinton, NC and Grace Berry, of Chapel Hill, NC



Both the visitation and the service will be held at Walker’s Funeral Home in Mebane, NC. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10th at 11am and the service will be at noon. Burial will be at Lebanon United Methodist Church cemetery following the service.
