Carol Belt

It is with great sadness that we announce that Carol Ann Kujawinski Belt passed away on Friday, February 23rd 2018. Carol was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and cousin, and friend to many and will be deeply missed. She was always a positive comfort to her family and friends and loved unconditionally. Carol was always there to listen and share supporting words that that left you feeling loved and at peace. She was an avid Scrabble player and was tough to beat. Working in her garden brought her great joy and she always made sure to be up to date on current events and to learn new things and being very involved in the OLLI learning in retirement program at Duke. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many amazing places though out the world such as Russia, Europe, Japan and China. Animals also had a special place in her heart - dogs, cats, chickens and especially birds. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing stories that made us all laugh and smile. Remembering these happy times will give us all peace as we grieve her passing.
