Carl Scott

Carl Dunn Scott, 84, a native of Orange County, passed on Nov. 21, 2019 at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hal and Eula Scott, brother, Harold Lee Scott, and sister, Betsy Ross Scott Johnson. He is survived by one brother, Rainey T Scott, and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by White’s Furniture and Craftique in Mebane, and owned a TV repair business in Orange County for many years. Carl will be remembered as a charismatic and humorous character who loved to shoot the breeze and reminisce about old times. He will be missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
