Carl Frick Sr.

Mr. Carl W. Frick Sr, age 91 of Efland died on November 6, 2018 at UNC Hospitals in Hillsbrough. He was born in Albemarle, Stanly County NC on March 24, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Lily Frick. Carl worked in textiles, loved to garden and loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife Annie Jones Frick of the home, two daughters, Anna Smith and husband Danny of Hillsborough, and Jenny Ellis of Durham, two step-daughters, Renee Gutierrez of Efland and Terry Yarborough and husband Brandon of Graham. One son Paul Riley Frick of Raleigh, and many grand, great, and great great grandchildren. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough with Rev. Ronnie Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove UMC Church Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is in charge of the arrangements.
