Brenda Kirlik

Brenda Joan Larson Kirlik passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2019 at the Hock Family Pavillion in Durham following a lengthy illness. Brenda was born on July 29, 1961 in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada to Sixten and Elizabeth Larson. She is survived by her husband Brian, daughter Erin, brother John of Burlington, Ontario and sisters Donna Waller of London, Ontario and Debra Walker of Port Hope, Ontario. Brenda's energy, kindness, passion and talent influenced many people over the years. She loved to cook, garden, entertain family and friends and contribute to her community. She was a gifted writer and editor, loved to read and talk to strangers. Most of all, Brenda was caring and kind, driven to make a positive difference every day and with every one. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in Brenda's name would be appreciated. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill has been entrusted to care for the Kirlik family.
