Hillsborough - Mrs. Beverly Sue Johnson McBride, 63, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was a native of Orange County and grew up in Chatham County where she attended Chatham School. She was employed at the Chapel Hill Country Club for 20 years and retired due to health problems Surviving are her daughter, Robin M. Ligon (Don), her son, Thomas McBride, two sisters, Faye and Lynn, one, brother, Willie Johnson, three grandchildren, Artie Collins, Chassity Ligon, and Chad Ligon, six great grandchildren: Thomas Houston Collins, Haylee Colllins, Mackenzie Lopez, Starla Ligon, Matthew Lopez, and Addison Lopez, one niece, Sabra Rocket (Robert), and one great grandnephew, Gavin Rocket. She was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Watts Johnson and her husband, Thomas Houston McBride. Special thanks to Duke Hospice for their special care.
