Barry Pruss

CHAPEL HILL - 1st Lieutenant Barry Gordon Pruss, 82, of Chapel Hill passed away September 17 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. He was born May 30, 1932 to the late Richard and Nancy Donahue Pruss. Barry was a veteran of the US Air Force, he loved the outdoors and to hunt and fish. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Mary Lou Williams Pruss; daughter, Patricia Pruss; son, Barry James "Jimmy" Pruss; grandson, Guy Johnson and sister-in-law, Joyce Hayes. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 30 at Old Chapel Cemetery, Chapel Hill with Military Graveside Rites.
