Angela Crabtree

Angela Dawn Ward Crabtree passed away on Thursday October 24th, 2024. Angela had been suffering illness from long covid since 2021 and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December of 2023.

Angela was born on August 15th, 1971 at Watts Hospital in Durham. She lived the majority of her life in the Cedar Grove area. After graduating from Orange High School in 1989, she would go on to attend NC State University and achieve a business degree in marketing. From there she would have a successful career at IBM, Lenovo, and Freudenberg.

Angela was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She loved to be involved with anything and everything relating to her immediate and extended family. Any chance she was awarded to visit or support loved ones, she was always there. She greatly enjoyed being an active member in Little River Presbyterian Church, and was so thankful for the support they have given her over the last few years.

Angela is survived by her fiancé: Raymond Sharpe. Children: Matthew Crabtree, Jacob Crabtree. Grandchildren: Wade Crabtree, Carter Crabtree. Parents: Willard and Melvia Ward. And Sister: Merdith Woodson.

Final respects will be paid at Little River Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, October 29th. All memorial contributions can be sent to Little River Presbyterian Church There will be a visitation with the family at 1pm, followed by a service at 2pm. Afterwords there will be a short outdoor service at the columbarium.
