Alice Phillips

Mrs. Alice Reitzel Phillips passed away June 2, 2018, in the home. Alice was born January 9, 1940, to the late Walter John Reitzel and Ernestine Miller Reitzel. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughters, Shelia Phillips Murray, and her husband, Derek, Martha Phillips Cole, and her husband, Cheshire Cole, III; grandsons, Chance Murray and Jake Cole; sister, Frances Reitzel Beaver of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jack Reitzel, and his wife, Pat, of Tarboro, NC. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Phillips, and her sister, Hazel Reitzel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 6th, in the Chapel of Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough, NC, officiating will be Pastor Anggie Summers Thompson. Burial followed in Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Pallbearers were Derek Murray, Chance Murray, Cheshire Cole, III, Allen Cole, James Cole, and Adam Cole. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to UNC Hospice, Suite 221, 287 East Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The Phillips family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
