Alene Walser

-Hillsborough- Alene Walser went Home on July thirty-first, 2014. She was born in Hillsborough, North Carolina where she lived for many years and was a loving mother to her four children. As a civilian employee of the Air Force, Alene lived in Florida, South Korea, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she remained a current and long-time resident. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conway, South Carolina. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by many. Surviving are one daughter, Carol C. Andros and her husband Steve from Myrtle Beach; two sons, Bruce G. Collins from Myrtle Beach, Fred Collins and his wife Sharon from Durham; one sister, Betty Sue Minnis from Chapel Hill; one brother Odell Walser and his wife Geraldine from Apex; seven grandchildren and nine great gradchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and one daughter Sandra Collins Nelson. Visitation will be on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at Walker's Funeral Home on Hillsborough. Funeral services will at 11:00AM on August 5, 2014 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough with burial at Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
