Please share a memory of Phillip to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Phillip E. Radabaugh, 81, died at home surrounded by his loving family on July 30, 2017. Phil was born on November 5, 1935 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Buryl and Edith Radabaugh. He was a 3 sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Baseball) at Roseville High School. Upon completion of three years serving his country in the Army in Korea, he returned and married his childhood sweetheart, Janece Julian, on June 21, 1958, whom he initially met in 7th grade. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Western Michigan University and later a J.D. from the University of Baltimore. Phil had a long and successful career at State Farm Insurance where he achieved the position of sectional manager and was a mentor and friend to many colleagues. Phil is survived by his wife Janece, his daughters Lisa and Kathy, his sons-in-law Taras and Roger, his grandchildren Jamie, Cal, Alex and Stefan, and his sisters Joan, Judy, Connie and Sherry. Phil always put his family first. He was a devoted husband, awesome dad, and a loving poppy to his grandchildren. He coached his daughters in many sports and attended almost every game they had, even those he had not played. He loved to babysit his grandchildren, Jamie and Cal. Phil and Jan enjoyed traveling and had many wonderful trips abroad. Phil's favorite past-time was watching sports, especially going to baseball games - it didn't matter who was playing. In his retirement, he enjoyed being a starter at Finley Golf Course. Phil was an entirely lovable person, with a wonderful sense of humor and a smile for everyone. We will miss him dearly and know we will meet again in Heaven.
